Program

Day 1: Foum Zguid – Erg El Mhazil

• Departure: Begin your adventure at 2 PM from Foum Zguid. Board a 4×4 vehicle to cross the vast plains of Iriki National Park and the ancient dry lake of Iriki.
• Arrival at Erg El Mhazil:
  • Reach the first Sahara dunes and meet the camel driver and team.
  • Settle into the bivouac nestled amidst the dunes.
  • Climb the great dune to witness a breathtaking sunset.
• Evening:
  • Enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the cook.
  • Gather around the fire for music, stories, and dancing under the starlit desert sky.

Day 2: Erg El Mhazil – Dunes

• Morning:
  • Start your day with a magical sunrise over the dunes.
  • Relish a traditional Moroccan breakfast.
• Hiking:
  • Begin your trek through the dunes, accompanied by a camel caravan carrying food and equipment.
  • Move from dune to dune at a relaxed pace, absorbing the desert’s tranquility.
• Evening:
  • Reach the next campsite and relax as the team sets up camp.
  • Dine around the fire, followed by music and captivating desert stories.
  • Sleep in a tent or under the stars for a peaceful night in harmony with nature.

Day 3: Dunes – Farm Nomads Oasis – Titanic Restaurant Iriki

• Morning Hike: Continue your trek through the dunes, eventually arriving at a nomadic farm oasis.
• Cultural Exchange: Learn about the nomads’ lifestyle, their traditions, and their resourceful way of life in the desert.
• Arrival at Titanic Restaurant Iriki:
  • Unwind in this traditional adobe structure.
  • Enjoy an authentic Moroccan meal and relax with mint tea.
  • Spend the night in a comfortable room, experiencing the warm hospitality of the restaurant’s team.

Day 4: Titanic Restaurant Iriki – Foum Zguid

• Morning: After breakfast, embark on a scenic 4×4 journey back to Foum Zguid.
• Return: Cross the dried lake of Iriki and arrive in Foum Zguid by late morning.

Equipment Checklist

• Comfortable walking shoes.
• Sun protection: sunscreen, hat, or scarf (chèche).
• Water bottle and backpack.
• Sleeping bag for bivouac nights.

Rates

• €320 per person (minimum of 2 people).
• Transfers from your starting point can be arranged (price upon request).

Price Includes:

• Accommodation in bivouac and guest house.
